Southern Californian Mountain Sunset

South Texas Gold
A wide-angle landscape photograph of White Sands National Park features a flowering Soaptree Yucca in the foreground under a post-storm sky. The yucca has sharp, green, needle-like leaves radiating from its base, with a tall, central stalk topped by a cluster of bell-shaped white blossoms. To its right is a smaller, non-flowering yucca. The middle ground shows rolling white gypsum sand dunes with ripples and scattered desert shrubs. In the distance, dark blue mountains sit under a blue sky filled with white and grey clouds. A faint rainbow arches through the clouds in the upper right quadrant.
